We woke up of the third morning to see this from our balcony. It is hard to believe how big a cruise ship is until you see it up close. It was still a little cloudy, however by the time we pulled up to one of our favorite breakfast spots, Pepe's Cafe, the clouds had parted and we saw the sun for one of the first times since we arrived here!
Pepe's was established in 1909 and is known as the oldest restaurant in Key West. They have a great patio and serve an incredible breakfast. We always look forward to see what homemade bread they are making each day. This morning it was coconut bread.
I dined on the french toast special with pineapple, blackberries and a banana sauce. Good way to start the morning!
After breakfast, we hurried back to the hotel to jump on the boat that would take us to Sunset Key Island for a day lounging on the beach. Sunset Key is a beautiful private island that guests staying at our hotel have access to. It is just a few minutes boat ride from Key West. The beach is gorgeous here.

After a long and very relaxing day at the beach we found another great stop soon to be added to our favorite's list, Grunt's.
And finally it was time for you guessed it....Key Lime Pie.
But this time, on a stick and dipped in Belgium Chocolate!

looks like yall are having a great time. I know that it is so nice to have that quality time with each other but I am sure you miss the kids. Everything looks awesome
